Tata Motors Releases Official Images of soon to be launched Zica

MANILA: Tata Motors has released a set of pictures of its soon to be launched hatchback Zica. Though, the launch for now is restricted only to the Indian market, in the near future we can expect Tata Motor Philippines adding the stylish Zica in its limited model line-up.

As per sources, next week Tata will hold a media preview of its new hatch, which it says is a modified version of Indica. As for our market, Tata Motor Philippines hatchback line-up is only limited to Vista and Indica and so a new entry is expected somewhere near early 2016.

Tata Zica will be the first car to come out of the company’s wherehouse after its recent Lionel Messi tie-up, as their global ambassador. So, we can expect some never seen before design language and amenities in Zica. And as for proof, we can see some bold character lines on the side as well as front profile, windshield spoiler, wrap around tail lights, body colored door handles, V-spoked alloy wheels, and much more.

Inside Zica, you'll find a comforting space that includes features like front and rear power windows, three-spoke multifunctional steering wheel, and 2-DIN integrated music system. Tata Motors have known to power the all-new Zica with two engine options: 1.2L 3-CYL petrol and 1.05L 3-CYL diesel mill. Both the power trains will be paired to either an MT or an AT, as for the exact detail we have to wait until its media preview.

Safety is also taken care in this economical hatchback as it features amenities like rear wiper with washer, ABS + EBD, rear parking sensors and dual front airbag. Being an average budget car, Zica is priced around PhP 213,000 to PhP 284,000 in India. So, we can say the said Tata car will fight cars like Suzuki Alto, Toyota Wigo, Hyundai Eon, and Kia Picanto.
