Toyota breaks ground for new dealership in Davao City

MANILA: Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has broken ground for its upcoming new dealership facility located in Tugbok, Davao City.

The upcoming Toyota Tugbok outlet will be the brand’s third dealership. Once opened, it will serve prospective buyers and current Toyota owners residing in the largest city in Mindanao, as well as other nearby areas. 

According to the marque, Toyota Tugbok will be a 3S facility. This means it will be capable of handling the sales of Toyota-branded vehicles, providing after-sales services, and supplying spare parts. It will likewise feature a modern look designed to create an inviting atmosphere for clients while providing the best quality of service. 

“Davao City is one of the most progressive and promising areas in the Philippines sustaining elevated levels of economic growth. The presence of Service, Manufacturing, and Agriculture sectors shows that this city will continue to boost the economy and create livelihood,” TMP President Masando Hashimoto said. 

“With this positive outlook, Toyota Motor Philippines would like to provide the community with the improved mobility of people, goods, and services by establishing another Toyota dealership in Davao City,” Hashimoto added. 

For now, the company has yet to release a target date for the opening of the Toyota Tugbok dealership. On the other hand, the Japanese carmaker’s other two dealerships within Davao City are Toyota Davao, Inc., and Toyota Matina.
