Toyota to provide inclusive, sustainable mobility at Paris Olympics and Paralympics 2024

MANILA: As the official mobility partner of the International Olympic Committee and International Paralympic Committee, Toyota will provide sustainable transport solutions for the athletes, officials, media, and spectators of the Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games 2024.

Toyota is committed to make Paris 2024 a showcase of cutting-edge, inclusive, and sustainable mobility by transporting the participants and staff safely.

To provide "Mobility for All," Toyota will be providing 700 personal last-mile mobility products such as C+walk S, C+walk T, and wheelchair e-pullers; 250 Accessible People Movers; and 150 wheelchair-accessible Toyota Proace throughout the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Toyota also aims to reduce carbon emissions at Paris 2024 by 50% compared to those of previous games.

Over 2,650 electrified passenger vehicles will be used at Paris 2024, around 60% of which will have zero emissions. The fleet will include the Toyota bZ4X, Proace, Proace Verso, and Mirai, as well as the Lexus RZ.

Around 1,000 hybrid and plug-in hybrid vehicles will be deployed, including Toyota RAV4, Corolla TS, Yaris Cross, and Highlander.

The Paris Olympic Games will happen on July 26 to August 11, 2024, while the Paralympics will be on August 28 to September 8, 2024.
