Wheel Gallery now carries off-road brand Method Race Wheels

MANILA: Wheel Gallery, Inc. has been named the official country distributor of off-roading specialist Method Race Wheels.

It will also be the first international retailer of the MR107 Bead Grip Wheel.

The MR107 Bead Grip is the wheel used on the factory Toyota Gazoo Racing Hilux in the Dakar Rally. With Method’s off-road racing experience and technological expertise, the wheel is able to endure the harshest conditions while having a load rating of up to 4,000 lbs.

The US-based Method Race Wheels is known for its high-performance wheels that are used in the most demanding off-road races in the world. It has won the Dakar Rally, Baja 1000, and King of Hammers. Method works with the best motorsports teams and drivers when competing in off-road racing events. The company ensures that every wheel produced is “lighter, stronger, faster” for better performance in racing and everyday use.

Method Race Wheels has recently introduced its Bead Grip Technology that was developed from the demands of off-road racing. The brand’s latest breakthrough guarantees that the tires are securely in place despite lower tire pressure for additional traction.

“Method Race Wheels with Bead Grip have been tested to hold tires securely in place with as little as 10psi all without the use of a mechanical beadlock ring, a first in automotive wheel engineering. Bead Grip’s reduced weight over a traditional beadlock wheel allows for less strain on vehicle drivetrain while simultaneously unleashing more available horsepower to the driver. Bead Grip products by Method Race Wheels are also safe for on-road vehicles, a departure from traditional beadlock wheels which are off-road use only and require regular maintenance,” Wheel Gallery said in a statement.

Method Race Wheels is now available at Concept One Wheels located at 318 Santolan Road, San Juan City, as well as the latter's authorized distributors.
