2019 CFMoto 400 GT launched in the Philippines
MANILA: CFMoto, the Chinese motorcycle manufacturer has launched its newest offering, the 2019 400 GT in the Philippines. After the brand made its debut in the country in 2018, the CFMoto has been quite active in the two-wheeler scene and launching more and more of its products in the Philippine market. The CFMoto 400 GT, which is a highway-legal sport touring bike, was uncovered at the 13th Inside Racing Bike Fest and Trade Show along with the launch of Zontes, another brand of the same manufacturer.

Characteristics like high windscreen, comfortable ride quality, and an upright riding position make the 400 GT a competent motorcycle for both intra-city riding and touring. KISKA, an Austrian company has done the looks of the 400 GT. Another interesting fact is that CFMoto itself has ties with another Austrian motorcycle manufacturer, KTM. The Chinese manufacturer is also expected to provide KTM with a production line in China very soon.

Enough of the side facts, let’s come back to the CFMoto 400 GT. The sports tourer is powered by a 4-stroke liquid-cooled 400.4 cc motor that produces 41.5 PS of maximum power at 9,500 rpm and a peak torque of 34.4 Nm of torque at 7,650 rpm. A 6-speed transmission unit takes care of delivering the power to the rear wheel via chain drive. Two petal discs at the front and a single at the rear are responsible for bringing the motorcycle to a halt. The CFMoto 400 GT also gets ABS for better braking performance.

Other notable features on the motorcycle include all LED dual headlamps, a windscreen that is adjustable up to 60 mm, and a 5-inch full TFT color display with auto day and night modes. Moving on the color options, the 400 GT gets Concept Blue and Nebula White as the two finishes available to choose from. Customers can also avail accessories like side boxes, radiator shield, and side protector bars with the motorcycle. For pricing, the 2019 CFMoto 400 GT has been given an SRP of Php 276,000.
