Here is a quick look at what two-wheeler enthusiasts in the Philippines can expect from VinFast E-Scooter Philippines’ maiden roster.
VinFast Viper
The VinFast Viper is an electric motorcycle that looks as close to the internal combustion engine-powered city scoots we have here in the Philippines.

For fit and finish, it offers would-be riders a set of fairings with an abundance of sharp angles and straight lines. Its design language leans more towards the sporty type, with a snappy-looking headlamp at the fore, topped by the VinFast “V” on the upper cowl panel — just below the fully-housed handlebar. It also gets a short fender to stop dirt and mud from spraying all over the e-scooter.
The same vibe can be seen on its side fairings, with the angle of the panel ever so slightly tapering upwards. The cushiony saddle follows the same ascending direction, which ends at the pointed tail, finished with a standard grab bar.
Photo by Juan Paulo PapaAs an electric motorcycle aimed for daily use, it is equipped with various appointments that support everyday riding, such as a foldable hook for hanging small bags, a flat floor board for accommodating small items, and folding metal foot pegs for the pillion rider.
Its rear has an angular mud guard — which reinforces its athletic proportions — with protruding turn signals. There is also a plate holder on the fender.
From this angle, the VinFast Viper noticeably lacks an exhaust pipe. Being an electronically propelled motorcycle, it ditches the traditional muffler, but still maintains a familiar look with the plastic coverings underneath the shock absorbers.
Speaking of which…
Chassis, electric powertrain
The VinFast Viper is equipped with twin suspensions at the rear and a fork with dampers at the front.
Power comes from an in-hub motor that propels the two-wheeler to a top speed of 70 to 90 kilometers per hour. Supporting this is a swappable battery that allows for 80 kilometers of emissions-free riding on a single charge.
Photo by Juan Paulo PapaThe said battery weighs approximately 12 kilograms and takes four and a half hours to recharge.
With familiar looks and a new-energy-driven motor, the VinFast Viper has a strong potential to lead the trifecta of e-scooters from the brand.

VinFast Feliz II, Evo
The other two electric motorbikes are the VinFast Feliz II and Evo, which undoubtedly look like electric scoots at first glance.
Photo by Juan Paulo PapaFor one, the VinFast Feliz II looks more tamed with more curves and contours than strong, aggressive lines. Its friendly appearance sends a message that its priority is in practicality and some level of comfortable ride quality.
It follows the same profile as the VinFast Viper with a tall stance and a planted riding feeling, but has a softer attitude suited for chill commutes.
Photo by Juan Paulo PapaAs for the VinFast Evo, the electric motorcycle stands as the most approachable model in the lineup, with styling that leans toward classic European urban scooters.
It is also the shortest of the three in terms of overall length, which makes it more maneuverable for students, younger professionals, and city commuters who prioritize ease of use over outright performance.
Possible launch date
The three VinFast scooters will be officially launched in July. The company will take pre-orders in June.
