The new 2019 Ducati Scrambler Icon gets the LED turn signals that are built with automatic off feature, along with a new headlamp having LED DRLs on its rims, something that is taken from its elder sibling, the Scrambler 1100. The tank panels are newly designed and so is the muffler cover. The 2019 Scrambler Icon shares the same 10-spoke alloy wheels as the Scrambler 1100. The engine casing of the bike has a brushed aluminum casing.

It is built with an enhanced retro appeal despite being more modern in its approach. The switchgear is now of better quality for the riders to scroll the Icon’s LCD instrument console. The seats are flat while the handlebars are wider, giving a much more upright and comfortable stance. Plus, the tuning of the suspension (sourced from Kayaba) is such that the rider would be relaxed even on uneven roads.

Updated Ducati Scrambler Icon

The 2019 Icon is light and has a low center of gravity to make the ride quality more pleasurable. The front and rear wheels are 18-inch and 17-inch respectively. As for the braking, there is 330 mm disc up front while the rear has 245 mm unit. The dual channel Cornering ABS is sourced from Bosch.

This 2019 Ducati Scrambler Icon is powered by an 803cc engine that can produce a whopping 73 PS of power, coming at 8,250 rpm along with a good torque of 67 Nm, which comes at 5,750 rpm. Also, this motor is developed to offer smooth and uniform acceleration throughout the rev range. As for the transmission, a 6-speed gearbox unit is offered.

The 2019 Ducati Scrambler Icon is offered in two colour option - Atomic Tangerine and Classic  62 Yellow. It could be introduced in the Philippines market in the first half of 2019.
