Yamaha PH to compete in ARRC, FIM JuniorGP with Paz, new racers

MANILA: Yamaha Motor Philippines (YMPH) is "racing" the Filipino flag. It announced that the Yamaha Racing team is officially competing in this season of Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) and FIM JuniorGP World Championship.

Continuing his racing success, Mckinley Kyle Paz (main photo) will chase the championship title with his new league, Yamaha Philippines Stylo Bike Racing Team.  Last year, Paz finished in the top 10 at Round 5 of the 2021 FIM CEV Moto2 European Championship and was an ARRC champ in 2019. 

While in ARRC, April King Mascardo and Gian Carlo Mauricio will compete under the  UMA Racing MMR Yamaha Philippine Racing Team. 

Mascardo and Mauricio emerged as the top two best racers when early this year, Yamaha gathered 14 racers to undergo a series of tests that measure bikers' skills in motorsports.

In an interview to ZIGWHEELS PHILIPPINES sibling brand Carmudi Philippines, YMPH Motorsport Head Jordan Cornista shared that Paz is “very excited and determined” in achieving good numbers in the upcoming races.

In a statement, YMPH said that one motorcycle racing is underway, it will "constantly make opportunities to support local racers and offer only the best racing experience via its world-class supersport machine for customers on and offline."
