For a few weeks, I’ve been using the GAC GS8 as my primary vehicle, and while it's stylish and spacious, I’ve noticed a few issues during longer drives. When I drive this car continuously for long hours the heat from the engine makes the cabin warm which feels very uncomfortable. Due to this issue, I get distracted while driving. Around the engine bay, insulation is not that effective. While to some extent the air conditioning can offset, it doesn't resolve the issue fully. If you’re considering the GS8, buy it only if you will use it for cooler climates or short commutes.
