In the sport compact car segment, the Hyundai Elantra N is definitely a top player. It offers crisp handling, sharp throttle response, and a sonorous exhaust note. Its longer wheelbase contributes to a more compliant ride than its competitors, but it still offers the surefootedness expected from a sports sedan. The grin-inducing exhaust note is pleasing to the ears. Despite being in my 40s, the Elantra N makes me feel young again, all thanks to its impressive driving performance, sporty design, and stylish cues. It makes me remember my 20s when I was into sports cars.
