Its battery pack delivers a range of up to 315 km. Using a DC fast charger, its battery can be charged to 80% in just 12 minutes. This hypercar’s motor is mated to a single-speed automatic transmission system and utilizes an all-wheel drivetrain. Lotus claimed that the Evija can go from 0 to 300 km/h in just 9.2 seconds.

That said, to say that this hypercar is fast is an understatement. It is lightning fast off the line, allowing you to easily outmaneuver slower vehicles on the highway and fellow competitors on the track. Its transmission is also very crisp and smooth. Considering its range, it would be a capable weekend car for shorter-distance out-of-town trips. However, its low ground clearance would not be ideal for heavy city commuting.

In terms of safety, the Lotus Evija is equipped with three-point seatbelts and four-point harnesses for the driver and co-pilot seats, as well as driver assistance technologies such as electronic stability control, blind spot monitoring, and lane departure warning with lane keeping assist.
