The Levante is Maserati’s first crossover-SUV. It has the sleek and sporty lines that have become the characteristics of Maserati. I have driven the Levante S. It has, what Maserati says, an air suspension system which has been specially tunes. Whatever that may mean, the system works. Yes, there’s a bit of firmness and you may feel the larger bumps. But the ride quality is not hard-edged. It’s an agile and nice car to drive. It feels more compact and steers into corners with a lot of enthusiasm. The seats are very comfortable and long-drives are never tiresome. The Levante is an all-weather SUV.
