Ducati Streetfighter V4

For starters, the Ducati Streetfighter V4 model line measures 2,112 mm in length, 888 mm in width, 1,040 mm in overall height, and 845 mm in seat height. This super naked motorcycle also has a wheelbase of 1,488 mm and a ground clearance of 121 mm. In terms of kerb weight, the S trim is 2-3 kilograms lighter than the Standard trim.

Right off the bat, the Streetfighter V4’s design closely resembles the Panigale V4, with its sharp front-end styling, muscular silhouette, and Desmosedici Stradale engine finished in a bronze-like shade. It looks like a naked-bike version of the MotoGP-derived supersport motorcycle. Up front, it sports a full-LED headlight assembly with striking V-shaped DRLs. It also comes with a sturdy pair of LED signal lights. And, unlike the Panigale V4, this super naked motorcycle is not fitted with front fairings and a transparent windscreen, giving it an aggressive, stripped-down appearance.

In terms of features, the rider is given a 5-inch TFT instrument screen that offers a Ducati Multimedia System (DMS). As mentioned earlier, this super naked motorcycle comes with a high and wide handlebar that provides a more upright yet sporty riding position. Its seat offers decent cushioning and support for the rider but is slightly tall for riders under 6 ft. On the plus side, it comes with well-positioned foot pegs, making low-speed filtering more manageable.

Going back to design. Its aggressive silhouette is enhanced by unique-looking biplane wings (for enhanced aerodynamics), sharp contours and sporty monotone finishes. The S trim also features Ducati motorsport decals, making its side profile appear sportier and more premium. This super naked motorcycle is fitted with 17-inch wheels. Meanwhile, at the back, its rear is illuminated with curved or crab claw-shaped LED combination lamps, enhancing its overall look at night.

In terms of suspension, the Standard Ducati Streetfighter V4 is equipped with a Showa BPF Fork at the front and a Single-Sided Swingarm at the rear. Meanwhile, the S trim features a front and rear Ohlins suspension setup. 

Regardless of the suspension, this super naked motorcycle hits sharp turns and winding roads with confidence and precision. It delivers outstanding stability and grip at high speeds. In the city, it feels surprisingly nimble, even when navigating through traffic and crowded streets. It can also absorb smaller bumps and other minor road imperfections quite effectively. However, it would not be advisable to ride this motorcycle through larger humps and deep potholes, considering its low ground clearance.

The Ducati Streetfighter V4 model line is powered by a 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale 90-degree, liquid-cooled V4 engine that produces 208 hp of maximum power and 123 Nm of maximum torque. This super naked motorcycle comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.

That said, this super naked motorcycle boasts outstanding speed both on the racetrack and on the open road. You will also be able to smoothly upshift and downshift on this motorcycle when cruising spiritedly on the expressway, thanks to its quickshifter. Overall, the Streetfighter V4 is a serious competitor on the track and a feasible daily ride for riders who are not concerned about high fuel costs.

The Ducati Streetfighter V4 model line utilizes dual discs for front braking and a single disc for the rear. Its braking setup is supported by an anti-lock braking system, a traction control system, and a Brake Control EVO. Aside from that, this super naked motorcycle is equipped with Ducati’s Cornering EVO, Wheelie Control EVO, and Slide Control, among others.
