The Ducati SuperSport is the Italian brand’s sport-touring motorcycle that offers an impressive mix of comfort, excitement, and everyday city usability. It combines a sportbike’s thrilling performance with a tourer’s comfortable handling and ergonomics. Its sleek, sporty design, reminiscent of Panigale models, also turns heads wherever it goes. In the Philippines, the Ducati SuperSport’s price ranges from ₱1.225 million to ₱1.235 million, depending on the colour. This sport-touring motorcycle is available in two trims - Standard and S.

Ducati SuperSport Design
In terms of dimensions, the Ducati SuperSport model line measures 2,126 mm in length, 743 mm in width, 1,151 mm in overall height, and 810 mm in seat height. This sport-touring motorcycle also comes with a 1,478-mm wheelbase and runs on a pair of 17-inch wheels.
The Ducati SuperSport’s design strikes a balance between aggression and elegance. Its fascia, which resembles a robotic hawk, features confident-looking headlights with slim DRLs, giving its front end an ethereal look at night. A pair of LED signal lights is also integrated into its mirrors for enhanced visibility at all times. It gets a small transparent windscreen and a body-coloured front fender underneath.
On the sides, it features an athletic profile, highlighted by a sculpted fuel tank, sharp fairings, and blacked-out naked elements. The S trim also flaunts “950 S” motorsport decals for more detail. Additionally, a dual-exhaust configuration on its right side enhances its sporty appearance on the road. At the back, its sharp tail end features a conventional-looking, modern LED tail lamp, along with another pair of turn signals.
Up front, the rider gets a digital instrument panel that displays valuable real-time information, including the available riding modes. Its dual-stepped seat provides the rider with great comfort and ergonomics, even on long rides.
However, the pillion seat is a bit narrow and has thinner cushioning. Consequently, this may affect the passenger’s comfort level on longer rides. On the plus side, this sport-touring motorcycle is fitted with well-positioned pillion foot rests for better stability and more manageable low-speed filtering.
SuperSport Ride & Handling
In terms of suspension, the standard Ducati SuperSport is equipped with a fully-adjustable USD Marzocchi Fork at the front and a Single-Sided Swingarm with a Sachs Monoshock at the rear. Meanwhile, the S trim features a front and rear Ohlins suspension setup. That said, this sport-touring motorcycle feels light and nimble to maneuver in the city while remaining sharp and confidence-inspiring on the highway and on winding provincial roads. In addition, it delivers decent absorption of light bumps and other minor road imperfections, resulting in a supple cruising experience for the rider.
Ducati SuperSport Engine & Fuel Consumption
The Ducati SuperSport model line is powered by a 937cc Testastretta 11-degree L-Twin, liquid-cooled, Desmodromic Distribution engine that delivers 110 hp of maximum power and 93 Nm of maximum torque. This sport-touring motorcycle comes mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.
The SuperSport feels exciting at high speeds while remaining manageable in stop-and-go traffic conditions. It delivers strong power and torque on the open road without making the rider feel intimidated. Shifting is also smooth on this motorcycle, thanks to its quick shifter and slipper clutch. However, its heat management, especially in heavy traffic, could still be improved. That said, the Ducati SuperSport balances high-speed enjoyment with respectable city performance.
SuperSport Braking & Safety
Both trims of the Ducati SuperSport are equipped with front dual disc brakes and a rear single disc brake. This sport-touring motorcycle’s braking setup is supported by an anti-lock braking system and a traction control system. The SuperSport also comes with a pass switch, a steering damper, the aforementioned slipper clutch, and an immobilizer, protecting it from potential theft wherever it goes.
Ducati SuperSport Verdict
In my opinion, the Ducati SuperSport is one of the most versatile models of the Italian brand. This is because it effectively combines engaging performance with everyday city comfort. That said, it would make a great ride for both daily commutes and long-distance journeys.
