Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R

Talking about the exterior aesthetics of the masterpiece sports-bike, the Ninja ZX-10R has the most stylish and eye-catchy features. The fully-faired motorcycle has everything that is necessary that a sporty rider would wish-list on his bike. The front profile of the bike dons a tank section, with intricately designed aerodynamic functionality. The seat is split-up for the pillion but on the downside, the rear unit is not very comfortable for seating. The windshield at the front helps in wind deflection and offers complete support to the riders to change positions comfortably while on high speeds. The bike is suspended over forks from Showa which helps keep the bike stable firmly gripped on the ground. The bike is also manageable on tight corners with an advanced braking system.  

Under the chassis of this powerful sports bike is a powerful engine offering an unmatched ride quality. Owing to the twin-spar frame, the power delivery is outrightly exceptional. The frame traces a direct line from the head pipe to the swingarm pivot, which also offers a sturdy built to the bike. This delivers a linear behaviour for better stability and greater control. Frame twist was designed to be as close to the main pipes as possible, which further facilitates rider control. Wall thickness could be minimised while ensuring the required strength and rigidity. Talking about the suspension set-up, it is taken care of by inverted forks while the rear is handled by a backlink on the swingarm pivot. Both these elements are designed firmly and not rigidly to offer a better cornering and track usage to the riders. 

At the heart of Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R is a very powerful engine. The engine itself is being tried-and-tested by the company itself and delivers amazing performance right from the word “GO”. The 998cc liquid-cooled, in-line four-cylinder engine is capable of churning out a maximum power of 200 PS at 13,000 rpm along with a peak torque of 113.5 Nm at 11,500 rpm. Power is delivered from the engine to wheel via a 6-speed manual gearbox. 

To further improve the Ninja ZX-10R’s entry performance, a high-spec Brembo front brake system was implemented. The Brembo system is very similar to the system used on the Ninja H2R and includes the best components available for a mass-production model. At the front are two 330 mm disc brakes while the rear has a single 220 mm unit. Also, there is an ABS (anti-lock braking system) and with this whole set-up, the stopping power has everything that a sports bike possesses. 

Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R offers a very smooth ride and Liquid-cooled, 4-stroke In-Line Four, DOHC engine makes it even better. ZX-10R locks horns with Ducati Super-sport and the Suzuki GSX-R1000, both of which are priced at a higher level than this. However, the Kawasaki is the most powerful model amongst the competitors and promises to deliver much more power than any other model in the segment. With the price tag it comes with, the ZX-10R is one powerful masterpiece in this segment and makes it worth a buy.
