One of the most capable sport-tourers on the market
Being 6’2", I find naked bikes to be very cramped, but the Kawasaki Z900 Standard feels very spacious. The seat height is quite good, and the triangle between pegs, handlebars, and seat keeps me relaxed and upright. I use it for both occasional long-distance rides and daily commuting and while like a tourer it doesn’t offer wind protection, its comfort is quite good for the naked. I added a tail bag and small flyscreen, and now it’s one of the most capable sport-tourers on the market. On longer trips, the fuel tank lasts decently, and that inline-four is an absolute joy on open roads.
