When it comes to looks and design, the TVS Rockz 125 might not break any new ground or bring any new revolutionary design on the table. However, the conventional design of the Rockz 125 meets new youthful design cues, which definitely have been inculcated keeping the young buyers in mind.

At the front, the TVS Rockz 125 comes with a conventional headlamp assembly mounted on the handlebar. The beak-shaped front apron comes with racy graphics and small but angular turn indicators, which make it look sporty. The high mounted front fender above the front wheel is a common design element which we have seen in many other cub bikes, and the same is there on the Rockz 125 too.

The side profile of the Rockz 125 looks quite aggressive and big in terms of visual appeal. The front apron is extended on the sides with bigger and angular body panels, all the way down above the engine. This overall design theme makes the Rockz 125 bigger than what it actually is.

The lack of luggage hooks is a serious concern on the Rockz 125. The well contoured stepped seat is big and long enough to seat two adults with ease. The side body panels towards the rear are slim and make the Rockz 125 look quite lean. The chrome heat shield on the exhaust pipe and simple looking alloy wheels are premium touches on the Rockz 125.

At the rear, as expected, TVS has made the Rockz 125 look minimalist with a big and angular tail light assembly. The instrument console is a simple affair with an analog speedometer and a small rectangular LCD console which shows digital fuel gauge, odometer and trip meter.

The TVS Rockz 125 gets a suspensions setup of hydraulic telescopic forks at the front and a pair of gas-charged coil springs at the rear. This overall suspension setup, in true TVS mannerism, is set on a slightly stiffer side, in order to make this athletic looking vehicle feel equally agile as well.

The overall handling and steering are pretty accurate, which makes it quite a fun to ride machine. The large 14-inch alloy wheels with grippy tires make sure that the Rockz 125 feels sure-footed while on the go. Even the braking setup of a disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear has spot-on feedback on the application.

Powering the TVS Rockz 125 is a simple in design four stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled, carbureted, 124.5cc engine, which is a detuned form of the same engine which is there on the TVS Max 125 Semi Trail. The engine, here on the Rockz 125, is coupled to a 4-speed gearbox, and produces 10PS of maximum power and 9.8Nm of peak torque output. The engine is refined, and thanks to the low kerb weight of 107kgs, the Rockz 125 feels quite lively while on the go.

The TVS Rockz 125 is positioned as a premium cub class bike, but despite this, the bike refrains from many prominent safety features like a rear parking brake or a lockable ignition key hole. However, the presence of a front disc brake ensures that the Rockz 125 feels sure-footed while braking.

The TVS Rockz 125 is quite an appealing product with its youthful and aggressive design, which looks quite bold in isolation. Being a TVS product, the Rockz 125 feels built to last which is an essential thing for a cub class bike, which is known to be one of the most practical modes of transport. The engine feels refined and powerful for a bike of this class, while the capable chassis mechanicals makes it a bike rich in dynamics.
