The extra batteries contribute to its massive power, but also increases the kerb weight, making it heavier than direct competitor McLaren P1. Nonetheless, its awe-inspiring performance has overshadowed both P1 and La Ferrari.

McLaren P1:

The British automaker McLaren has been world famous to craft cars that push the envelope in terms of car design and engineering. All McLaren rides have been topping the charts in terms of speed, performance or design. After the tremendous success of McLaren F1, the British automaker decided to rule the hybrid segment, hence the onset of P1. The McLaren P1 generates a fierce 903Hp, thanks to its robust 3.8 liter V8 twin-turbocharged engine and electric motors. This robust powertrain allows the car to shoot from 0-60mph like a wildfire in mere 2.8 Seconds. The BMW i8 uses a 231 HP turbocharged 3-cylinder gasoline engine coupled with a 131 HP electric motor, generating a massive power of 357Hp. The i8’s 0-60 speed is a scant 4.4 seconds, meaning that this car not only looks pretty but can lay down some devastating performances on the track. BMW’s made some huge strides in developing hybrid technology, and the i8 is most certainly the company’s crowning achievement.

Infiniti Q70 Hybrid:

The Japanese automaker– Infiniti has proven that it crafts cars that deliver it all, from luxurious interiors to glorious exteriors and a top-notch performance, and with Q70, Infiniti has shown that they are magnificent in the hybrid department too. Behind the nimble-range top performance of Infiniti Q70 is a 3.5-liter V6 engine, along with an electric counterpart, which can generate 360 horsepower. The Q70 sprints from 0-60mph in merely 4.9 seconds, beating out its gasoline-only brother in terms of performance.
