400th Shell Helix Oilchange+ outlet opens in C5 Southlink

MANILA: Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corporation has inaugurated its 400^th Shell Helix Oilchange+ outlet.

Located along C5 Southlink, it provides customers with quicker access to expert vehicle services through comprehensive tests — not just oil change —conducted by certified mechanics.

Vehicles that receive regular maintenance and oil change are more likely to sustain their roadworthiness. Shell Helix Oilchange+, the country’s largest auto workshop chain, has expanded its services beyond repairs and oil changes to include basic vehicle testing. Shell has been maximizing technology for many years in order to help develop safer roads and communities.

Shell Helix Oilchange+ outlets provide a comprehensive Signature Service Check that uses modern tools like brake fluid moisture tester, coolant, tester, digital tire gauge, and more to prevent human error. On-Board Diagnostic 2 (OBD 2) equipment comprehensively and accurately evaluates vehicle health in less than 10 minutes with the help of expert mechanics.

Shell Helix Oilchange+ goes above and beyond for its customers with integrated vehicle service history data across all 400 outlets nationwide. This groundbreaking service keeps track of a vehicle’s previous troubleshooting jobs, repairs, and checkups across all Shell Helix Oilchange+ outlets, allowing mechanics to provide expert care regardless of which outlet a vehicle is brought it. Customers can also get information on when their vehicle’s next oil change or maintenance check is due using the integrated system.

The outlets also offer a variety of high-quality Shell Car Care products, including Shell Helix Ultra with PurePlus Technology, the first synthetic motor oil made from natural gas, as well as synthetic motor oil options. Some outlets come with Helix lounges with free WiFi and viewing windows where customers may wait in comfort while their vehicle is serviced.

The Shell Helix Oilchange+ mechanics who provide these top-of-the-line services receive regular training from the Don Bosco Technical Institute, an industry leader in technical training, to keep their skills up-to-date.

Shell Helix Oilchange+ plans to expand its network to 40 to 50 locations per year. Customer service and inspection quality will be consistent across all outlets. Future outlets will incorporate sustainability efforts to reduce carbon emissions, similar to those implemented in C5 Southlink, including the use of eco-bricks made from recycled plastic water, rainwater collectors for upcycling in restrooms, and use of LED and inverter technology in lighting and cooling systems.
