BAIC opens Davao dealership 

MANILA: BAIC Philippines, under the stewardship of United Asia Automotive Group Incorporated, has partnered with Image Cars Davao Incorporated to strengthen the Chinese carmaker’s presence in the south of the country and open a new dealership in Mindanao. 

Located at Kilometer 7, West Insular Village, Lanang, Davao City, Davao del Sur, the installation is strategically positioned to serve the growing automotive market in the region. 

“Expanding our BAIC dealer network is about getting closer to our customers,” BAIC Philippines Brand Head Timothy Sytin was quoted as saying. 

“The opening of our Davao dealership strengthens our reach in Mindanao and ensures customers in Davao City have a reliable partner for sales, service, and long-term ownership support through Image Cars Davao Incorporated,” he added.

Dealership features

The dealership offers a modern and customer-centric facility designed to deliver an enhanced sales and after-sales experience with a 180-square-meter (sqm) display area with the capacity to showcase five to six automobiles. 

Further, it has a service facility covering approximately 450 to 500 sqm, with four to five service bays. 

“The grand opening of the Davao BAIC Dealer represents a significant step in expanding BAIC’s dealer network in the Philippines,” a company representative said. 

“Through Image Cars Davao Incorporated, we are committed to delivering excellent customer service, reliable after-sales support, and a world-class dealership experience to customers in Davao City,” the representative added.
