Beep card now available in Lazada, Shopee for P188

MANILA: Beep cards are now available in several online stores as Beep stored value cards operator AF Payments, Inc. (AFPI) is making efforts to alleviate the shortage of cards in train, bus, and modern jeepney stations around Metro Manila.

AFPI launched its official stores in Lazada, Shopee, and Facebook Marketplace on Monday.

“With the opening of these digital sales channels, AFPI not only makes it more convenient for commuters to get a hold of their own Beep card, but also gives them the peace of mind that they will not be scammed when buying online,” AFPI said in a statement.

The Beep cards sold at online stores retail for P188 excluding shipping fees. They are more expensive than the ones available at LRT-1, LRT-2, and MRT-3 stations because they are subsidized by AFPI and the Philippine government under a concession agreement.

“Like all other merchandise for sale in these e-commerce platforms, Beep cards may also be purchased with discount vouchers as applicable, and offers are good only until supplies last,” AFPI added.

AFPI encourages Beep cardholders to download the Beep mobile app to register their card, check their balance and reward points, and redeem rewards.

Beep cards can also be reloaded through digital banking and e-wallet apps such as GCash, Maya, BPI, Share Treats, ShopeePay, Venio, Chinabank, LandbankPay, JustPay.to, Gateway Mobile, Posible, and Payloro.
