Seaoil Radical Challenge PH enters 5th season

MANILA: The Seaoil Radical Challenge Philippines is returning for its fifth season later this August.

The returning four-round series will commence on August 21 at Clark International Speedway (CIS) and Batangas Racing Circuit (BRC), with Fuchs Lubricants Philippines serving as its official lubricant partner. 

“Partnering with Radical Philippines is a natural fit — two brands built on precision engineering and a relentless push for performance. We’re excited to fuel the next generation of Filipino racing talent with lubricants trusted on tracks worldwide,” Fuchs Lubricants Philippines Managing Director Roland Metelmann was quoted as saying.

Founded in Mannheim, Germany, in 1931, Fuchs supplies more than 10,000 specialist lubricant solutions across over 50 countries.

What to expect in Season 5 

Just like in previous seasons, racers will vie for podium finishes in both the SR3 and SR1 Challenge Cups.

Each round will again feature Practice and Qualifying sessions, followed by three 30-minute sprint races.

Organizers noted in a statement that for the upcoming season, all race cars competing in the series will use Fuchs' Titan products, including engine oils, gear, and transmission fluids. The range extends to the fully synthetic Titan Race line developed for competition use. Additionally, competitors will also use Seaoil Extreme-97 fuel in their tanks to power their vehicles. 

“As we open the fifth consecutive season of the Seaoil Radical Challenge Philippines, we take pride not only in how far the championship has come, but in the community that has grown with it. What began as a vision to elevate Philippine motorsport has become the country’s fastest racing series and a platform where talent, technology, and passion converge,” Seaoil Philippines Head of Fuels Marketing Edward Cruz was quoted as saying.

“This milestone is made even more meaningful as we continue to strengthen our partnership with Radical. Together, we remain committed to pushing the boundaries of motorsport in the Philippines, and we are excited about the even bigger opportunities and experiences that lie ahead for drivers, teams, partners, and fans alike.”

Further, Cruz welcomed the new and returning teams and drivers to the forthcoming races, thanking them for the trust and commitment that have “helped shape this championship.”

“The growing field is a testament to the increasing appeal of Radical racing and the momentum the series continues to build year after year.” 

Further, Cruz expressed gratitude to its co-sponsors and welcomed new sponsors.

For his part, Radical Motorsports Philippines President Mike Consenheim thanked its title partner in the Philippines and the participants in the races for their support over the past seasons.

“Together with our title partner, Seaoil Philippines, we are proud of how far this championship has come. Over the past five seasons, it [Radical Motorsports Philippines> has grown into the country’s premier one-make racing series, showcasing the passion, talent, and professionalism of Philippine motorsport. I would like to thank Seaoil Philippines for their continued trust and commitment, as well as all our teams, sponsors, officials, and supporters whose dedication continues to drive the championship forward.

“As we look ahead to 2026, our commitment remains the same—to deliver exciting, competitive, and safe racing while continuing to raise the standard of motorsport in the Philippines and providing a platform for drivers to develop and excel. We’re excited for what promises to be our biggest and most exciting season yet,” he added.
