Believe it or Not: Volkswagen Philippines Issuing Junior Driving License in 30 minutes

MANILA:Volkswagen Philippines once again is hosting the Child Safety Initiative, the same event which the company hosted earlier this year in the months of June, July and August. If you missed the before dated event then the company is inviting all of you once again. And don't forget to bring along your 4 to 8-year old kids as they will be the main protagonist of the show.

The said event will start with Philippines Global Road Safety Partnership's driving seminar, under which the team will be discussing road signs. Giving your child a better understanding of road safety, thus motivating them to become good responsible citizens. After this, kids will be given driving lessons, under which they will learn driving on Volkswagen toy cars. These lessons form an important part as after them a quick test will follow, which is the key of getting a junior driver's license. So, in just thirty minutes your child will hold his first license.

DOTC assistant secretary Dante Lantin said, "Ninety-one kids get injured or die every day because of a road accident; that's about two school buses of children". Commenting on the quick license delivery he further said, “The LTO will learn from Volkswagen how to issue a driver's license in 30 minutes."
