Bentley makes grand appearance at 2022 Monterey Car Week

MANILA: Bentley Motors participates in the Monterey Car Week with a series of programs that establishes its grandest appearance at the auto show.

The Bentley Mulliner Batur grand tourer will make its world debut at Bentley’s Signature Party on Sunday, August 21. This handcrafted coachbuilt car features a new design language with elements that will lead Bentley’s future range of battery-electric vehicles (BEVs).

The Batur is named after a breathtaking natural body of water, Lake Batur in Kintamani, Bali, Indonesia.

Bentley Mulliner will also showcase its other phenomenal models, including the Blower Car Zero and the Mulliner versions of the Continental GT, Continental GTC, and Flying Spur. A customer Bacalar model will also make its US debut at the event.

A bespoke Bentayga EWB Mulliner Gallery will also be on display at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering.

Bentley is also set to introduce its new signature look for events at the Home of Bentley at Monterey Car Week.

Exquisite presentations of sustainability, authenticity, and craftsmanship will link the design elements of the Bentley lineup to the Home, both inside and outside the property.

Six current-generation Bentleys change each day and attendees can select among the 103 Bentley cars lined up for test drives, representing one for every year of the brand's history.

There will also be a rally of at least 30 Bentleys at the Monterey Car Week. The cars will travel from Pacific Coast Highway to the Monterey peninsula. The rally will arrive at Laguna Seca in time for a track parade led by Bentley Chairman and Chief Executive Adrian Hallmark, who will helm a Blower Car Zero. The Speed 8 that won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2003 will be on the track for demonstration laps as Bentley launches its year-long celebration of the 100th anniversary of the race.
