Bentley saves 55.38 tons in emissions for 2025

MANILA: Under its 2025 Sustainability Report, as directed by the Beyond 100+ strategy, Bentley has saved a total of 55.38 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent emissions. 

This milestone was brought about by the company’s extensive activations of sustainably-sourced energy sources for its production lines, as well as its lineup of products that currently consist of hybrids, plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV), and efficient fossil fuel cars. 

As the brand shared, its latest milestones mentioned above align with several other sustainability projects, including its thorough plastic reduction initiative, which has already saved two tons of plastic used in parts packaging. 

Moreover, the company has donated £703,421 (or around P57 million) to charities. This was done via the Bentley Foundation. 

One notable example of the aforementioned was a custom surfboard produced together with Marnie Surf Communities. This piece was auctioned off, with proceeds given to Surfability United Kingdom - a group that provides inclusive surfing lessons for people with disabilities and learning differences.

“Celebrating World Earth Day, our 2025 Sustainability Report shows how Beyond 100+ continues to guide our transformation, ensuring we deliver extraordinary vehicles today while shaping a responsible future for generations to come,” Walliser added.

On track to launch first-ever EV

Bentley is likewise on track to reveal its first-ever all-electric model this year. The aforementioned, the brand says, is a part of its Beyond 100+ sustainability strategy, which will also involve more efficient internal combustion cars and the continuation of its plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) offerings.

For now, no official details on the Bentley EV nameplate have been shared, but it reflects the British luxury marque’s eagerness to broaden its horizons in electrification. 

If we refer to previous reports, the Bentley EV that will be revealed this year could receive plenty of inspiration from the EXP15 concept car. The aforementioned was first unveiled at the 2026 Monterey Car Week and features a squarish body shape with an upright grille and a very long “endless” bonnet. 

As of now, there’s still no information on when the Bentley EV production model will be launched, but earlier teasers indicate it will be a sport utility vehicle (SUV). Then again, it isn’t likely to carry over most of the EXP 15 concept car’s characteristics. 

After all, it was stated by the brand previously that the said EXP15 won’t be “produced as is,” and is instead a design study with elements set to “trickle” down to its actual products.
