Bianca Bustamante headlines motorsport-themed event in SM MOA

MANILA: Filipino F1 Academy racer Bianca Bustamante headline a motorsport-themed event at the Central Atrium in SM Mall of Asia. 

Dubbed “Race to Inspire,” the first installment of the three-day affair saw the Laguna-born driver interact with her supporters and talk about her inspiring journey into the world of motor racing where she moved up from go-karts to formula cars. 

Bustamante — the ambassador of the said event — has proved herself in various competitions such as the W Series, USF Juniors, Formula 4 Championship, Indian Racing League, Formula Winter Series, and of course, F1 Academy. 

She has achieved multiple podium finishes against some of the best drivers in her class as well as numerous honors from institutions like the Golden Wheel Awards. 

Now, Bustamante races under the banner of Art Grand Prix. And although she missed her opportunity of being a part of the Ferrari Driver Academy in 2022, the 19-year-old racer became the first female driver to be accepted ino the McLaren Driver Development Program.
