BYD Cars PH dealership network expands to Davao City

MANILA: BYD Cars Philippines, under the distributorship of ACMobility, has established its newest dealership in Davao City, its first-ever outlet in Mindanao. 

Created in partnership with Image Davao Mobility Corporation, the new facility was designed to display six BYD models simultaneously in its showroom, provide spare parts, and address clients' service and repair needs. 

In total, the dealership has four service bays, a dedicated vehicle washing bay, and several charging ports. A specific charging port is likewise positioned inside the BYD outlet’s vehicle release area. 

The newly opened facility likewise boasts a modern design, which is consistent with the electric car brand’s global standards. The outlet also has a negotiation room, a merchandise area, and a customer lounge. 

For Davaoeños who want to visit the new BYD dealership, it is located at KM.5 J.P. Laurel Avenue, Bajada, Davao City.  The showroom is open Mondays-Wednesdays from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. and Thursdays-Saturdays, 8 a.m.-8 p.m. 

As of the moment, BYD Davao has yet to be officially inaugurated, but the outlet is already operational and has already opened its doors to accept would-be adopters of its electric vehicles, such as the Atto 3, Dolphin, Tang, and Han. 

As a side note, Davao City already has several EV charging points. In addition to the ones inside the daelership, SM Lanang and Ayala Malls Abreeza already feature charging stations. 

According to ACMobility, it has a target to open a total of 22 new dealerships in 2024. Besides the new one in Davao City, Quezon City, Makati City, Bonifacio Global City, and Cebu, the company is seeking to spread its dealership network to Cagayan De Oro, Dagupan, Iloilo, Lipa, Naga, Alabang, Sta. Rosa, Marikina, Cavite, and Pampanga, among others.
