BYD Shark 6 DMO formal launch set on Mar. 2025

MANILA: BYD Cars Philippines has expressed its readiness in introducing the Shark 6 DMO to the local market after a huge fleet already reached the country.

In a statement, ACMobility said that the arrival of the units (which will be formally launched next month) is expected to have a strong impact on the local market.

Following this, BYD Cars Philippines also started the reservations for the aforementioned model.

"The arrival of the BYD Shark 6 DMO signifies BYD’s continuing commitment to providing game-changing vehicles that are set to transform how we move," BYD Cars Philippines  Managing Director Bob Palanca said.

"We're excited to shake things up again in the industry with the all-new BYD Shark 6 DMO. This electrified lifestyle pickup combines power, technology, performance, and sustainability, while offering adventure seekers a truly innovative and unparalleled driving experience,” he added.

In addition, the BYD Shark 6 DMO will join the brand’s growing NEV stable that includes the recently-launched Seal 5 DM-i sedan and the Sealion 6 DM-i SUV. This initiative displays ACMobility and BYD’s shared commitment in bringing in electric mobility to more Filipinos.

Prior to this, numerous agents have already offered the BYD Shark 6 DMO over social media, saying that the vehicle will be priced at around P2.4-P2.7 million.
