    Half-a-million goal

CAMPI has set a target for 2025, which the organization puts at 500,000.

Per the association, recently introduced nameplates and anticipated models are some of the basis of its target.

“CAMPI is confident in setting the aspirational figure of 500,000 unit sales as its target for this year. Newly rolled out models and anticipated introduction of new models are some of the factors that will contribute to achieving this target”, CAMPI President Attorney Rommel Gutierrez said.

Relatedly, TMP Chairman Alfred Ty recently noted that local players in the Philippine automotive industry could do a little over CAMPI’s target.

“As we welcome 2025 and the Year of the Snake, the prospects of the industry are quite encouraging,” Ty was quoted saying.

“As a result, we are projecting a growth of over 500,000 units — half a million new cars — exactly 512,000 units, representing a growth of eight percent for the whole industry in 2025,” he added.
