The groups retailed 352,971 units vehicles in January-October 2024.
  • How many units did CAMPI and TMA retail in October 2024 alone?

The groups sold 40,003 examples to customers last month.
  • Based on their joint report, the two organizations experienced an 8.9-percent increase in retail volume compared to the 384,310 examples turned over to customers during the same period last year.

Last month alone, CAMPI and TMA jointly sold 40,003 vehicles — reflecting a nearly five-percent rise versus the 38,128 units handed over to buyers in 2023. It is also 1.2 percent higher than September 2024’s 39,542-unit output.

CAMPI President Atty. Rommel Gutierrez attributed the figures to “good sales and good stock availability — neutralizing the effect of the typhoon Kristine on the operations of dealers nationwide last month.”

    Sales per category

Commercial vehicles continue to drive the groups’ sales performance, retailing 283,501 vehicles in January-October 2024 — cornering 73.77 percent share of the market. It is 7.8 percent more than the 262,875 examples sold over the same timeline under the previous year.

On the other hand, models under the passenger car category sold 100,809 vehicles — showing an almost 12-percent growth compared to January-October 2023’s 90,096-unit sales turnout.
