CES 2022: Hyundai to discuss robotics, metaverse for unlimited mobility

MANILA: Hyundai Motor Company will be presenting its future vision for robotics and the metaverse at CES 2022 on January 4, 2022 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, Nevada, USA.

Under the main theme of “Expanding Human Reach,” Hyundai Motor will discuss how its robotics business will lead the paradigm shift toward future mobility, pushing beyond traditional modes of transportation and meeting humanity’s need for unrestricted mobility. Hyundai will also present its vision for how robotics can complete the metaverse by integrating the virtual world with reality as a medium and overcoming the physical constraints of time and space.

Hyundai Motor will also introduce its new PnD (Plug & Drive) robotic module platform as part of the new Movement of Things (MoT) concept, which promises to provide mobility in anything from traditionally lifeless objects to community spaces.

CES 2022 visitors will be able to witness how robots can improve mobility in the real world and get a peek of the future robotics society, which will enable transportation between the virtual and real worlds.

Hyundai Motor’s robot product lineup will also be displayed. This includes the Mobile Eccentric Droid (MobED), as well as Boston Dynamics’ Spot and AtlasTM. Its display booth at the Las Vegas Convention Center will also feature robotics demonstrations and dance performance activities from January 5 to 8.
