Fuel prices to drop by more than P11/L this week

MANILA: Oil companies will implement major across-the-board price rollbacks this week.

In a Facebook post, the Department of Energy (DOE) announced that the retail price of diesel is set to slide by as much as 11.04 per liter, while kerosene will drop by up to 11.82 per liter. 

Gasoline products at the pump shall decrease by up to P5.90 per liter.

The movements, which will take effect starting tomorrow, is up until June 29. Here’s what they look like in a glance:

Amid the massive price drops, a total of 2,252 fuel stations continues to P10-per-liter fuel subsidy on public utility vehicle owners and drivers. Per the energy department, the government is pushing for the program to expand so that more stations can participate.
