Notably, the Go 1000 More run, per its name, involved a route from Nuvali, Santa Rosa, Laguna all the way up to Laoag City, Ilocos Norte and vice versa. This amounts to more than 1,000 kilometers, which all three vehicles covered on a single full tank.
These aren’t controlled routes with a straight shot for all three test units. In fact, they were subjected to regular city roads with traffic, busy provincial highways, and expressways. Along the way, GWM added that they even encountered periods of both light and heavy rain during the test.
On the one hand, the three GWM models were strictly monitored by the AAP. Each vehicle was verified to have started with a full tank, with the fuel lids sealed before the run. The organization likewise ensured that all vehicle components, including tire pressures, were maintained at standard (factory) levels.
“Go 1000 More’ isn’t just a marketing tagline - it’s a promise that we wanted to prove on the road, the way our customers actually drive,” GWM Philippines Brand Head Dax Avenido said.

Whether it’s a weekend escape out of town or the daily commute, these vehicles are built to go further on less,” Avenido added.
