GWM PH sets new highest monthly sales tally, delivers 232 units in Aug.

MANILA: GWM (Great Wall Motors) Philippines set its latest highest sales in a month's time after it delivered 232 units to customers last August.

The best monthly retail performance so far, the Luxuriant Automotive Group Incorporated-led vehicle distributor was able to more than double its previous strongest tally of 100 units reached in June 2026.

Notably, the achievement was reached in what was supposed to be a known lean month for many industry players.

In a statement, the company said that the milestone reflects GWM’s growing presence in the Philippine automotive market—attributing the result to the strong demand for the GWM Haval H7.

"August's numbers are the clearest signal yet that Filipino motorists are ready for what the Haval H7 offers," GWM Philippines Brand Head Daximilan Avenido said.

To note, the GWM Haval H7 is available in three options namely:

• Haval H7 HEV 2WD
• Haval H7 PHEV 2WD
• Haval H7 Hi4 PHEV 4WD

They are fitted with differing powertrains:

Available in Midnight Black (HEV and PHEV), Iceberg White (HEV and PHEV), Stealth Gray (PHEV), the vehicle’s pricing starts at P1,298,888 for the base trim, P1,548,888 for the midgrade variation, and P1,698,888 for the top-of-the-line variant.

"Since launch, we've seen this vehicle resonate the way we hoped it would—a genuinely capable, well-priced SUV that doesn't ask buyers to choose between efficiency and performance. Doubling our own sales record in just two months tells us this demand is real, and we're building our operations to sustain it through the rest of the year,” he added.

Further, GWM Philippines said that in line with its August sales milestone, it is also boosting its operations by working closely with its dealer network to improve vehicle availability and ensure that customers across the country receive a consistent ownership experience.
