GWM smashes into brand’s biggest monthly retail performance in PH

MANILA: GWM (Great Wall Motors) Philippines has achieved its highest sales output to date last June after selling 112 units nationwide.

In a statement, the vehicle distributor under Luxuriant Automotive Group Incorporated (LAGI) shared that its churn reflected a 50-percent growth year on year and the brand’s strongest monthly performance in the brand’s history in the country.

The milestone was achieved following the launches of the GWM Haval H9 and H7—sport utility vehicles that have enjoyed strong appreciation from the local market. Their introduction also expanded the marque’s presence in one of the country's most competitive automotive segments.

Aside from sales, GWM Philippines claimed to have experienced strong gains across its operations. Without providing exact figures, the firm said that its aftersales division exceeded its performance targets for the month. 

To date, GWM Philippines now has 10 dealerships nationwide an eight accredited aftersales service partners—boosting customer access to sales, maintenance, and technical support. 

"This milestone is a reflection of the trust that Filipino customers have placed in GWM and the dedication of our dealer net ork and business partners across the country," GWM Philippines Brand Head Daximilan Avenido was quoted as saying.

"June was a record-breaking month in the history of GWM Philippines, but more importantly, it affirmed the direction of GWM’S brand philosophy of ‘All Powertrains, All Scenarios, and All Users.’ Our dealers and business partners continue to invest in GWM because they believe in our vision and recognize the opportunities ahead. This wasn't simply a strong month for us; it was proof that GWM Philippines is steadily establishing itself as a rising force in the Philippine automotive industry. While we're proud of this achievement, we see it as another step in our long-term commitment to delivering exceptional products, ownership experiences, and value to Filipino motorists,” the executive added. 

Further, the company noted that its growth is is driven not only by an expanding vehicle lineup but also by its commitment to building a stronger ownership ecosystem.

“Through investments in dealer development, aftersales capabilities, and customer support, GWM Philippines continues to enhance every stage of the customer journey from vehicle purchase to long-term ownership,” the firm mentioned.

“The achievement likewise reflects the invaluable contribution of GWM Philippines' nationwide dealer partners and accredited service network, whose continued investments and commitment have helped bring the brand closer to more Filipino communities while delivering a consistently high standard of customer care,” it mentioned.
