Honda to unveil new global EV series at CES 2024

MANILA: Honda will be introducing a new electric vehicle (EV) series for global markets at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show (CES) that will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States from January 9-12, 2024.

The Japanese carmaker will display a number of products at its booth and on its dedicated CES 2024 website, including models from the global EV series and a few key technologies that highlight the company's current significant transformation in keeping with the trend toward electrification.

By 2050, Honda aims to have achieved carbon neutrality across all of its products and business operations. The company is moving toward electrification in order to meet its goal of “increasing the ratio of EV and fuel cell electric vehicle sales to 100 percent globally by 2040.”

Honda has been basing its business operations on its global brand slogan, “The Power of Dreams - How we move you.” This slogan conveys that Honda will develop mobility products and services that help people “transcend various constraints such as time and place” and “augment their abilities and possibilities.” By providing such mobility products and services, Honda will be able to help more people realize their dreams and take the lead in advancing society.
