Hyundai Cradle hosts Mobility Innovators Forum, which begins today
MANILA: Hyundai Motor Group has announced that Hyundai Cradle Silicon Valley is hosting this year’s Mobility Innovators Forum (MIF) which will be held virtually starting today, October 27.
With the theme “Life-Driven Innovation: Creativity Empowers Innovation,” MIF 2021 will highlight the significance of creative mindsets, new perspectives, and collaboration with technologists in developing innovative human-centered mobility solutions.
In a statement, Hyundai Cradle Silicon Valley Head Henry Chung said, “We are thrilled to host the 6th Mobility Innovators Forum, building on the success of the past five gatherings. Life during the past two years, in particular, has called for both creativity and innovation. So, the group expects MIF 2021 to offer thought-provoking insights for our lives going forward.”
The two-day event will kick off with an inspiring keynote speech from environmentalist David de Rothschild, followed by discussions between mobility industry leaders and creative thinkers, including artists, philosophers, and filmmakers.
Among the topics that will be discussed are “empathy-rooted mobility freedom,” “mindful sustainability,” “consciousness in robotics,” “the believable in the unbelievable,” and “the symbiotic relationship between creativity and technological innovation.”
MIF 2021 will be broadcast live from Silicon Valley to global audiences. Hyundai Cradle will also conduct the “MIF Ignite” virtual breakout session to encourage potential networking and further discussion between Hyundai Motor Group and registered attendees.

Since 2016, Hyundai Cradle Silicon Valley has hosted the annual MIF, bringing together global leaders and industry experts to tackle the future of mobility and inclusive society. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, MIF 2020 was held virtually and drew 1,829 participants, including 133 startups, 64 OEMs, and 38 investors under the theme “From Vision to Reality.”
Hyundai Cradle serves as an open innovation hub for Hyundai Motor Group, teaming up with and investing in global startups to fast-track the development of new automotive technologies. Cradle works with universities, investment firms, venture capitalists, and a variety of research groups.
