Hyundai Motor PH to launch Creta N Line next week?

MANILA: Hyundai Motor Philippines (HMPH) will likely be launching the Creta N Line sometime next week.

Based on the invite sent to Zigwheels Philippines, the local wing of the South Korean car brand will welcome “a new and bold addition to its line-up.”

The photo shared by the company shows part of the vehicle’s headlamps and grille with the “N Line” badge.

At a glance, it bears a striking semblance to the Hyundai Creta N Line sold in the Indian market. Similar are its angular daytime running lights (DRL) as well as the cluster of lamps that form its front lighting unit. Familiar too is the large honeycomb latticework that forms its grille.

While we await more details from HMPH, here are some notable specifications of the Indian-market Hyundai Creta N Line:

Exterior

• Quad beam LED headlamps with horizon LED positioning lamp and daytime running lights
• Sporty black radiator grille
• 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels with N logo and caliper
• Sporty tailgate spoiler
• Twin tip muffler

Interior

• Three-spoke leather steering wheel with N logo
• Leather seats with N logo
• Seamlessy integrated curvilinear infotainment and cluster screen
• Leather knob with N logo
• Sporty metal pedals

Powertrain

• 1.5-liter engine
• Six-speed manual gearbox or seven-speed dual-clutch transmission
• 158 horsepower
• 253 Newton-meters of torque

Hyundai Creta N Line in PH

The Philippine-market Hyundai Creta N Line could bear the same powertrain specifications as most crossovers are fitted with similarly-sized engines.

As for the niceties, we believe that most of the N-branded appointments will be carried over to the upcoming model, but we suspect that some features like the home-to-car with Alexa might get omitted.

Per the invite, HMPH will present its newest model on May 27, so stay tuned.
