Icaur PH forges alliances with 4 dealer principals

MANILA: iCAUR has forged collaborations with four dealer partners aimed at ensuring a strong presence ahead of its anticipated local brand launch.

During a simple ceremony, the Chinese marque’s local arm—which is under the Chery Auto umbrella—formally inked agreements with representatives from MG Gateway, Britannica United, Laus Auto Group, and DC Automobile. The partnerships will immediately cover key locations nationwide. 

In a statement, iCAUR Philippines said that its offerings will join the broader family of automotive brands under Chery, alongside Omoda and Jaecoo, “bringing another distinct brand identity and product direction to the group’s growing portfolio.”

“While Omoda and Jaecoo have established their presence in the Philippine market, iCAUR is set to introduce its own focus on electric mobility, distinctive design, technology, and performance,” the company said.

As part of its technology-driven approach to mobility, iCAUR also has the AIMOGA intelligent mobility technology platform, which was developed to support the brand’s vision for smarter and more connected automotive experiences.

The partners’ dealerships are expected to cater to the needs of the marque’s followers in the following locations:

• Quezon Avenue
• Manila Bay
• Pampanga
• Davao
• Makati
• Cebu

These dealerships will be the first establishments to retail the V23 and V27. 

To note, the former is a fully electric crossover, while the latter uses a range-extended electric vehicle system. “Together, they bring the brand’s distinctive design philosophy to Filipino consumers,” it wrote in an earlier statement.
