Infiniti QX80 Monograph Concept Will Debut At 2017 New York Auto Show

MANILA: In order to come up with a model which is wrapped in luxury and holds maximum utility, Nissan backed Infiniti is gearing up to showcase its next key concept. Yes, at the upcoming New York Auto Show, Nissan QX80 Monograph concept will make its debut whose design cues are shared with QX80. According to the brand, the QX80 Monograph concept blends luxury and space with a futuristic design which is not witnessed yet.

Evolved in accordance to the Infiniti’s new design philosophy, the QX80 hints towards a futuristic design. This can be stated from the images released by the company ahead of its official debut. With the new concept, the company is aiming to improve its position in the full-size luxury SUV segment.

Infiniti QX80 was first revealed in 2004 and since then, the SUV has evolved a lot. Further, to raise its standard, the company has now come up with the all-new QX80 Monograph concept. The silhouette is quite similar to the standard version of QX80 while the front features updated and sharper LED headlamps which are accompanied with LED daytime running lights. Even the front grille has been refreshed to change the overall appeal of the front fascia. Adding up to its muscular design are present new 24-inch alloy wheels and new bold wheel cladding.

Overall the concept measures 5,000 mm in length, 2,000 mm in width and 2,000 mm in height. The defined character lines accentuate the overall design theme of the concept in an effective manner. Another highlighting factor of the concept is its frosted-effect paint finish, which according to the company works in contrast with the brightwork.

The interior images are not revealed yet but, it is expected that it will be equally futuristic to the exterior. The QX80 Monograph could be the basis of next-generation luxury SUVs from the Infiniti.
