Mercedes hints at a creaseless finale’ with its  A-Class Concept Sedan

MANILA: The latest addition to the Mercedes-Benz brigade is the Concept A Sedan which radiates an aura of class and sensuality from all proportions. With comparatively reduced crease lines and increased rounded surface, this premium class sedan is expected to very soon make way into the A-Class league. Gorden Wagener, the head designer of Mercedes parent Daimler agreed to the fact that this next gen car has very well understood that creases are a day of past.

With measurements of width 58 inches, height 74 inches, and length 180 inches, this sporty new sedan’s frontal portion comprises of a Panamericana grill featuring a center star. Placed exactly below the grill is a solitary air inlet. The UV coated LED headlights have added to its new look. Running through the concept car’s side profile is a single character line.

The back segment of this beauty features sharper and longer LED tail lights accompanied with LED profiles which give it a very quirky touch. In tune with the frontal air inlet, a diffuser-look trim has been placed exactly below the rear bumper. This chrome trip strip accentuates the premium appeal of this sedan. The consolidated exhaust deflectors have been given a dark chrome makeover. Equipped with 20-inch wheels, and wide wheel arches this sensuous beauty is expected to hit the showroom floors within the next year.

Some additional features which are grabbing eyeballs are its panoramic glass roof and dark windows which will ensure 100% privacy.

Nothing has yet been officially confirmed by Mercedes group regarding the engine options. However, since this concept car is in pipeline of becoming an A-Class sedan we can only hope that its engine structure will match up to its peers.

With around two million of its vehicles finding takers since 2012, Mercedes is aiming to continue its victory marathon with this new concept model. The company's models are creating an uproar among its fans who just can’t stop raving about its innovative assistance systems, driving pleasure, contemporary design language, and connectivity. Building up competition for its peer Audi A3, this brand new sedan is expected to be marketed in China, US, and Europe.
