MIAS 2019: Kia Stinger to launch at the upcoming auto show

MANILA: Kia Philippines is expected to debut Stinger at the upcoming 2019 Manila International Auto Show. The vehicle was also displayed at recently concluded 2019 Bangkok International Motor Show, a few days ago.

The MIAS Wired will kickoff on April 4th and is going to be the venue for the unveiling of many vehicles from several brands. Alongside the Stinger, it is also anticipated that the company may also showcase the Kia Stonic.

The speculations are based on a few photos of the upcoming car that are doing rounds on the internet. One of these images features its headlights and is said to be captured at the Kia Philippine’s office. Moreover, Kia will also be displaying the Grand Carnival, Sportage, Sorento, Soluto, and Picanto at the show.

The Kia Stinger is the company’s first sedan to come with rear-wheel drive layout. The vehicle’s platform is now ultra-stiff and is made using advanced high-strength steel that contributes to its rigidity.

No information about the interior and engine is available, but it is expected that the sedan may feature the high-end turbocharged V6 mill. This powerhouse churns out a maximum power of 365 hp and a massive torque of 510 Nm. If this speculation fails anyhow, then there are fair chances a 4-cylinder turbocharged mill with the GT package. In this case, the maximum power output would be 255 hp and 352 Nm.
