Prestone’s new coolant guarantees peak engine performance, OEM compatibility

MANILA: Prestone Philippines launched its most advanced coolant ever, the Car-Specific Coolant with patented Cor-Guard Technology, at the recently held Cebu Auto Show 2023.

The Car-Specific Coolant is available in three variants: Red for all models of Toyota, Lexus, and Scion; Blue for pre-2009 to 2011 and newer models of Honda, Nissan and Subaru; and Green for pre-2009 to 2011 and newer models of Suzuki, Hyundai, Kia, Mazda, and Mitsubishi.

“Prestone has a long history of delivering automotive solutions that drivers can rely on, and this latest offering is no exception. We are confident that this innovation will redefine the standards of coolants and engine protection by making it more accessible to more motorists,” Prestone Commercial Director Paulo Lao stated.

According to Lao, the Car-Specific Coolant is the most advanced anti-corrosion formula ever developed by Prestone, as it instantly inhibits corrosion and minimizes residue and deposit build-up.

Prestone Philippines Jaycel Ortiaga also enumerated the three reasons why this coolant is a great buy for vehicle owners. “Firstly, it prioritizes safety, safeguarding your loved ones from potential overheating and car breakdowns. Secondly, it ensures the engine's longevity as it remains clean and protected from rust, grime and corrosion. Lastly, it provides value for your money by helping the car operate at its optimum level, maximizing fuel efficiency,” she said.

The Car-Specific Coolant 1L retails for P300 per bottle. It is available at Prestone’s partner stores and auto-supply shops nationwide, including Ace Hardware, Handyman, True Value, and Value, as well as the Clorox Official Stores on Lazada and Shopee.
