Shell launches best-ever Shell V-Power fuel yet, restores engine to like new

MANILA: With the new and improved Shell V-Power, motorists now have another reason to visit Shell, as it cleans 100% of performance-robbing deposits and prevents future buildup on vital engine parts. Removing these deposits can improve engine performance by up to 100%.

Shell V-Power was launched at The Fifth at Rockwell in Makati City, and Shell Fuels Scientist for Asia Pacific Andreas Schaefer spoke about the product's latest developments. Formulated with powerful cleaning agents that can remove deposits from key fuel system components and restore up to 100% engine performance.

“Vehicle manufacturers strive to increase modern vehicles' performance and efficiency. More efficient engines require fuels to perform under tougher operating conditions, exposing them to
gunk build-up and corrosion over time. With that in mind, Shell V-Power has been developed to work even more effectively even in challenging conditions,” Schaefer said.

Shell V-Power, the company's best-ever performance fuel for cars, has been in development for more than five years. This latest development is consistent with Shell's mission to improve life's journeys through an evolving range of fuels and a retail experience that prioritizes convenience, quality, and choice for its customers.

The Philippines is one of the first markets to launch the new and improved Shell V-Power with further roll-out planned for 2023.
