The company noted that SM Prime has partnered with the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) to give commuters access to real-time traffic information.
Available on select mall digital directories, live traffic feeds are being shared to help commuters check road conditions and plan routes more efficiently.
Aside from that, the company shared that it is investing more than P300 million to build a direct pedestrian link between the LRT-2 Antipolo Station and SM City Masinag in Antipolo, Rizal.
This project will include ramps, elevators, lighting and closed-circuit television systems will provide access between the station and the mall — cutting down transfer times and eliminating the need for street-level crossings.
Expected to be operational within the year, the construction for the aforementioned initiative (in partnership with the Light Rail Transit Authority) shall start in the second quarter of 2026.
Additionally, the firm will also create another Busway Concourse at SM Megamall—replicating the model used in SM North EDSA, which opened in March 2025.
Featuring covered walkways, elevators, escalators and direct access to the busway station to improve passenger flow, the construction is already underway — with the northbound portion eyed to be completed within the initial quarter of the year.
