Subaru XV 2016 Launched in Thailand

MANILA: Motor Image, the authorized distributor of Subaru vehicles in Southeast Asia has officially held the debut of updated Subaru XV at the 2015 Thailand International Motor Expo, where two variants of it reflecting the Subaru DNA were presented. Subaru claimed that new Subaru XV is all about fresh features, better aesthetics, and pleasing driving experience where it would be a perfect option allowing you to 'Unpark your life', and getting to your destination easily.

Talking about the updates of Subaru XV 2016, the exterior has received a redesigned hexagonal grille, amended C-shaped headlights with LED daytime running lights and L-shaped positioning lights near the fog lamps. The taillights are now clear-colored and the character lines are emphasized. A set of new 17-inch alloy wheels is also an eye pleasing feature which overall give it a complete look.

The inside of Subaru XV has leather upholstery, electric driver seat, alloy pedals, push start with key less entry system, revised steering wheel, and 6.2-inch touchscreen multimedia display which all contribute in the comfort of driver and other passengers.

Both the variants, 2.0i and 2.0i-Premium carries the same 2.0-litre DOHC four cylinder boxer petrol engine which cranks out 150 PS of power at 6200 rpm and 196 Nm of torque at 4200 rpm. The power is transmitted to all four corners through a six-speed Lineartronic CVT.

As for the safety, the new Subaru XV has SRS dual front airbags, knee airbags, ISOFIX anchor seats, anti-lock brakes, brake assist, brake override, electronic brake force distribution, vehicle dynamic control system, engine immobilizer, and side impact beams.

Thus, the car is now complete, new and more enticing in its offering. It is also available for booking at the following Subaru Philippines showroom from December 2015; Alabang, Sta. Rosa, Cagayan De Oro, Global City, Davao, EDSA Greenhills, Cebu, Batangas, and Manila Bay.
