Suzuki PH to put up Calapan dealership

MANILA: Suzuki Philippines Incorporated (SPH) is set to establish a new automotive dealership in Oriental Mindoro.

In a statement, the Japanese automaker’s distributor in the country shared that it recently conducted groundbreaking ceremonies for the soon-to-open Suzuki Auto Calapan, which will be under Reliance Auto Dynamics Incorporated.

Set to be established at Kilometer 9 Barangay Puting Tubig in Calapan City, the 3S (sales, service, spare parts) facility will have a total lot area of 1,800 square meters.  When completed, the dealership will feature a showroom that can display six vehicles and a service area with eight bays — all manned by competent and trained specialists.

According to SPH, the Suzuki Auto Calapan’s grand opening will be conducted sometime within the fourth quarter of 2025.

“This groundbreaking project will represent more than just building a place to buy or service a vehicle. We are dedicated to providing Calapan and nearby areas with not only the highest quality, most reliable, and efficient vehicles but also exceptional aftersales service for all Suzuki automobile owners,” SPH Director and General Manager for Automobile Division Norihide Takei said.

“We look forward to opening Suzuki Auto Calapan in the fourth quarter of 2025. This project is a step forward in our mission to make Suzuki vehicles and services available to more Filipinos,” he added.

Gracing the groundbreaking ceremony were Oriental Mindoro First District Congressman Arnan Panaligan, Calapan City Mayor Malou Flores-Morillo, and Agricultural Training Institute Director MIMAROPA Region Pat Andrew Barrientos.
