Which Toyota Motor Corporation sub-brands are showcasing concept cars at JMS 2025?
Toyota Motor Corporation sub-brands showcasing concept cars at JMS 2025 include Daihatsu, Gazoo Racing, Century, and Lexus. When and where is JMS 2025 set to take place?
JMS 2025 is scheduled to run from October 30-November 9, 2025, at Tokyo Big Sight.Lexus at JMS 2025
Lexus, Toyota Motor Corporation’s luxury arm, will be debuting a van-like six-wheeler vehicle at the 2025 JMS known as the Luxury Space (LS).
Photo from LexusSimilar to the currently available Lexus LM, its teaser pictures indicate a high roof and wide side doors - characteristics that could be evidence of a cushy people mover. Sounds right up Lexus’ alley, but the focal point of this concept is its six-wheeler layout. Interestingly, its front wheel is significantly larger than its four smaller wheels.
And no, the brand didn’t release any further details for this interesting-looking concept, but there’s a high chance that it could be an electric vehicle.

Gazoo Racing at JMS 2025
Based on teasers on its official website, Gazoo Racing (GR), Toyota’s performance arm, could be introducing the GR GT concept to the public for the first time. Going back to the teaser, it is presented with the tagline: “The Soul Lives On” together with the now legendary Lexus LFA. These details might be pointing to the GR GT as a potential LFA successor.
Photo from Toyota Gazoo RacingRemember also that Toyota already performed a field test of sorts at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed, so we have an inkling of what this car could look like. For those who don’t remember, a camouflaged GR GT and the GT Racing Concept (for GT3 FIA races) ran the uphill course, and both came with low-slung grand touring-style design cues. Both also sounded like they were packing something more powerful than a four-banger engine.
Century at JMS 2025
Likewise set to appear at JMS 2025 is the Century coupe. Teaser photos of the model come with split headlamps, a long hood, and a tapered rear end. Also, the concept car comes with prominent wheel arches and an imposing front fascia, complete with a rectangular front grille.
Photo from CenturyAgain, no specs for the Century coupe concept have been shared yet, but its future production version could stand as a competitor to the Bentley Continental GT.
Daihatsu at JMS 2025
Daihatsu, meanwhile, will be showing off its modern take on the Midget - a three-wheeled mini truck that initially came out in 1957.
Photo from DaihatsuThe new concept, known as the Daihatsu Midget X, however, is more like the second-generation four-wheeled K100 that was manufactured by the company until 2001. Albeit, its design is pointing towards personal mobility rather than a utility vehicle.
Toyota at JMS 2025
Last but not least, Toyota will be showcasing a new concept sedan that might be a preview of what future iterations of the Corolla could look like.
Appearance-wise, the said concept car employs a lot of sharp edges and character lines on its Lexus-like front end. It also wears a smooth roofline combined with a chunky rear haunch.
Photo from Toyota Motor CorporationFor now, the name and specifications of the Toyota sedan concept have yet to be disclosed, but like the other above, it could be a new energy vehicle. Its front fascia, after all, doesn’t have a grille.
To note, the JMS 2025 will run from October 30-November 9 at Tokyo Big Sight. Tickets are now available from the event’s official website, the event’s ticket partner agencies, and convenience stores in Japan.
