Volkswagen Philippines launches all-new Passat at PhP 2.3 Million

MANILA: Volkswagen PH is set to launch the all-new Passat midsize premium sedan that promises to deliver outstanding style, handling, and performance like no other. It will be available at a price range between Php 2.3 million and PhP 2.8 million.

The new Passat was recently awarded the 2015 European Car of the Year. The new Passat is the 8th generation of a segment of large cars produced by Volkswagen since 1973 and it was launched in Europe in November 2014. Undoubtedly, The Passat has been earning positive reviews in Europe, particularly for its cabin and boot space, quiet ride, powerful diesel and gasoline engine variants, and top safety aspects.

Powering the mid-size sedan is a German-tuned driving dynamics and a highly responsive and efficient 2.0 TSI engine that produces 220 PS, mated with a 6-speed dual-clutch Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG) transmission.

The Passat goes straight from Germany to Volkswagen showrooms in the Philippines with innovative design and aspects to deliver a live example of an ideal executive car. It features LED headlights, 18" alloy wheels, Adaptive Chassis Control, 12-way electric front seats, a navigation system, rear view camera, Active Info Display gauges, and a panoramic sunroof.

In Philippines, the Passat will be available in two variants: The "Business Edition" and "Highline" trims. Both variants come assembled with technological, infotainment and safety features such as the 3-zone Climatronic Air Conditioning, Park Distance Control, XDS Differential Lock, “Keyless-Go” Entry (KESSY), 8-speaker Audio System, and iPod, USB, Bluetooth Connectivity.

The new Passat comes with an amazing color combinations from exterior/interior such as Crimson Red/St. Tropez, Oryx White or Iridium Grey Metallic/Titanium Black, and Deep Black Pearl or Black Oak Brown/Natural Brown.
