MANILA: While the south-korean automotive brand KIA still struggles to impress the car buyers on a global scale, they clearly have set new standards in the Philippine automotive market. Not only their car models enjoy high demand in the market but have also been awarded with several accolades for their quality and high-performance automobiles. Their commitment to service and exceeding customer expectations has again been proven with the launch of their latest mobile application for KIA service. Launched on the 23rd of February by the officials at KIA motors Philippines, the KIA app allows the customers to explore a variety of features such as scheduling a service, roadside assistance, view important information about the original KIA parts and accessories and avail maintenance services in any location inside the country. This also shows how the technology across the globe is even more focused on the use of mobile platforms and being an innovator, there is no doubt that KIA motors are the first to launch such a service in Asia Pacific. Despite of not doing so great in the neighbouring Indonesia as the market is overwhelmed by Japanese brands, Philippines has been a great spot for the South-Korean car makers and has seen some aggressive marketing that involved several discounts on their famous car models such as the Sportage SUV and highly flexible payment options. This has led to the prominence of KIA brand automobiles in Philippines giving them a strong foothold in the market. The KIA Service App was presented by the president of Columbian Autocar Corporation (CAC), Ms. Ginia R. Domingo, who stated that the mobile service has been developed in accordance with the changing tastes of the people who want to avail each and every service while on-the-go. She also added that the service is offered through a freely available medium that a majority of buyers can access. This definitely sets the bar even higher for the rival automakers in Philippines and will certainly help in building buyer trust for KIA motors.
